I chose the name for this blog "Antiquated Riming" because we often heard that rhyming is no longer a fashionable method for writing poetry.

This may no longer be the case, however, as we are now seeing many accomplished poets rhyming.

However, in my case, I wanted to write a blog that is  "just for fun",

I have always enjoyed writing rhymes for my family and friends. To share special celebrations or events, or simply to make a point in a playful way.

That is what Antiquated Riming is all about.

I hope you enjoy the posts.
